Supported Membership
In addition to the categories above, BH&HPA has developed a specialist category of membership for park businesses which are committed to meeting our industry-leading standards for responsible park businesses, but need our structured support to achieve this.
You must still pass our stringent membership checks and then enter an agreement with us which is tailored to your specific circumstances.
Applications for Supported Membership are reviewed by the BH&HPA Board of Directors. If the Board agrees to proceed, a bespoke agreement will be drafted for your review. If accepted, you'll be asked to sign the agreement and adhere to its terms.
What might a Supported Membership agreement include?
Each agreement is tailored to the individual park’s circumstances, but will typically cover:
- Duration of the supported membership
- Specific conditions and expected outcomes
- Evidence of progress required
- Reporting intervals (e.g. six-monthly updates)
- Fee structure
- Details of any additional support services (e.g. legal, PR/marketing, planning, VAT/Tax, health & safety).
- Details of required engagement or co-operation with other relevant stakeholders. For example, a park’s local authority.
