Branches and Committees

‘The benefit of being a member from my point of view is the network of people around the country that you can call on when you need advice, friendship and help.’

- Henry Wild, BH&HPA Cumbria Branch Director, Skelwith Fold and Moss Wood

The BH&HPA has a network of 27 branches, each with its own committee of volunteers, who are at the heart of the Association and the parks industry within their area.

When you apply for membership to BH&HPA, your park’s location will automatically be mapped to your local branch and you will begin to receive email invitations to any local meetings or social events taking place. All branch events can also be found within the Events diary on the members’ website.

Branch meetings and social events are usually arranged by the Branch committee’s Chair, Secretary or Social Secretary. Most branches try to meet at least twice a year, often incorporating a park visit or presentations from industry advisers or suppliers. Social events range from branch dinners to golf days, barbecues to manufacturer’s tours.

If you’re a member and would like to know how to get more involved with your local Committee, use the Branches page of the members’ website to contact your local branch officers, or contact central office at [email protected].
